1. Malta is an ideal location for a holiday in the sun. The Republic of Malta is an archipelago that consists of seven islands. With its beautiful beaches and leisure activities, Malta tops the list of sunshine holiday locations in Europe.
2. The Canary Islands off the coast of Spain has a warm climate with plenty of sun for those seeking a tan. The region also has an extensive range of plant and animal species and offers excellent opportunities for scuba divers and water sport enthusiasts.
3. Located in the Tyrrhenian Sea to the north of Sicily, the beautiful Aeolian archipelago is third on the list of best sunshine holiday locations in Europe. Decades ago, the island had experienced a surge of volcanic activity which left behind black sand beaches and rocky coastlines. This group of islands still has two active volcanoes the Vulcano and Stromboli and is a tourist's paradise. It has a warm summery climate tempered with Mediterranean breezes.
4. The green island of Tinos is located a ferry ride away from Mykonos. Tinos is steeped in art, history and culture and has so much more to offer than just the sun, sand and surf.
5. From time immemorial, visitors to Europe have praised the French Riviera or Cote D'Azur. This whole area is famous for its rich and influential tourists, and a visit to this region is one you are sure to enjoy.

10. The French island of Corsica is covered in thick Mediterranean forests and contains a national park within its confines. Whether it is a holiday to observe the varied species, or one to enjoy quality time on the beach, Corsica is definitely a "must-see" location for those interested in having some fun in the sun.
