Street Food- Grilled Fish-Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Nothing beats the taste of street food! The grilled fish was perfectly charred on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and packed with smoky flavor. Served hot with fresh herbs and a spicy dipping sauce, it was simple, authentic, and absolutely delicious. A must-try for anyone who loves local street food!

Dining at YakiToRiLab-Phnom Penh-Cambodia

Had a great dining experience at YaKiToRi LaB! The grilled skewers were perfectly cooked with a delicious smoky flavor, the fresh salmon salad was light and refreshing, and the ice-cold beer paired perfectly with the meal. Great food, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly service made it a wonderful evening. Highly recommended!

Riverside BBQ Vibes

As night settles over Phnom Penh’s riverfront, the stretch alongside TonlĂ© Sap River near Koh Norea transforms into a lively street food and social dining zone. The river’s gentle flow reflects colorful lights from nearby cafes and stalls, and the air fills with the scent of charcoal, spice, and grilled meats.

One of the most familiar sights is skewers or grilled cuts of pork sizzling over charcoal. Street vendors layer juicy marinated pork slices or chunks on bamboo sticks and grill them till edges char and juices drip into smoky flames. In Phnom Penh you can find classic Khmer BBQ stalls not far from the riverside walk — perfect to pair with dipping sauces and cold drinks. This style is similar to local grilled pork dishes found throughout Cambodian street food culture.

Beef skewers and strips seasoned in Khmer spices or simple salt and pepper are another street favorite. The grilling brings out a smoky flavor that stands up to bold dipping condiments made from lime, chili, and herbs. Locals often enjoy these alongside noodle salads or cold beer while chatting with friends under the night sky.
