The iPhone 5 due to be a major release
by Dominic Burn
The iPhone 5 will be one of the most significant releases of
this year and will end much anticipation as to what technical features
or specifications the handset will offer. However, in the time leading
up to its release it is still possible to ascertain from the widespread
rumours and the features of the iPhone 4S as to what this handset may
bring.
The handset is most likely to look similar to its nearest predecessor although one rumour has suggested that the Retina display may be increased in size from 3.5 inches up to 4 respectively. This would be more advantageous especially as more people move to the iPhone for its Game Center providing gaming along with those who love to watch movies and TV shows on their smartphone. Gaming is already taking off for the phone series as the Center enables you to find friends and make new ones in order to play form a wide range of games. This social gaming is likely to get better still for this handset especially as it is about to come to the Mac desktop environment also. For example you can play games such as Chess with a friend on your phone or invite someone you do not know to play against you, the leader board then displays each of your results.
The iPhone 5 will also possibly bring the launch of the next iOS operating platform which the handsets, as well as iPad and iPod Touch, are all running. This would be iOS 6 and as we have seen particularly with new releases in this phone series, a totally new number tends to mean a totally new iOS number as well. This would all coincide nicely with a new processor as well, and with other manufacturers now releasing quad core powered phones are Apple going to only move to dual core or go the whole way? This is the same question for the main camera, which we would assume to be at least 12 megapixels and accompanied by a dual LED flash. What is for sure is that full High Definition video will be possible.
Having looked at some of the possible features of the iPhone 5 it is clear that it will be the next best thing for any phone user to have. Less certain is what exactly the next best thing is going to consist of, but if any of these rumours are true, it will be something great.

Who is number one mobile leader?

Samsung vs Nokia vs Apple: Who is number one?At stake are two crowns: Who is the King of the Smartphones across the world and who is the Master of the Universe in total mobile phone sales? Who is number one? This is the fun story.
Few Facts- Samsung Shipped 44.5million smartphones and overtook Apple, 35.06 million units, to become the world's number one smartphone vendor. Samsung Electronics in the first quarter overtook Nokia Corp to become the world's largest cellphone brand for the 1st time. Samsung sold 92million units to Nokia's 83million units. It's a comparison among the 3 major mobile phone players: Samsung, Nokia and Apple.
For 14years, Nokia has reigned supreme. It has been the first cell-phone for most people across the world, the first user-friendly cell phone company, it is synonymous with the word "Mobile Phones". It has got more brand recall than any other cell phone brand across the world. But now the game has changed. Nokia "WAS" the undisputed monarch and the king of the mobile phone.
Birth of Smartphones technology has turned the table. But that does not mean that Nokia is dead. How can a company that sells 83 million units be dead? This misdiagnosed of Nokia is based on the fact that its Windows Phone Smartphones sales have not set the world on fire. While it is true that mobile phone growth currently is predominantly fuelled by smartphone sales, the feature phone market is not dead, at least for next 5 years. There is still time with Nokia and Microsoft to plan their smartphone future well. Nokia Windows smartphones sales reflect the typical sluggishness of a huge transition and it is way too early to knock them off the smartphone market completely.
Whereas Samsung is the new Smartphone king/ smartphone leader and most people tend to agree with that analysis. It has sold 9 million more smartphones than Apple and has dozen of variants in smartphone category with players in Android, Windows Phone and its own OS, that does leave Apple with its only iPhone strategy, little weak. So now the case is closed with Samsung been a leader. Right??NO. The smartphone arena is no longer about the device itself but the entire ecosystem: apps that consumers bought, accessories available for that company's products, music downloaded, videos and movies bought, eBooks sold to users of that device. And in this arena, there is only one one UNDISPUTED KING- APPLE.
